Crown Lengthening/Crown Exposure

During a Crown Lengthening procedure, excess gum and bone tissue is reshaped to expose more of your natural tooth. We can complete this on one tooth or across several teeth, depending on what you need.

Crown Lengthening is recommended to expose more tooth structure before a restorative procedure, such as placing a crown or bridge on your tooth. If the tooth structure isn’t adequately exposed, then the crown will not stay on well and is more difficult to clean.
