Second (and Subsequent) Visits
We will work with your general dentist to develop your individualized treatment plan. There is no typical or average treatment. You will continue to see your general dentist while receiving treatment at our office. Keep in mind, periodontal appointments do not replace your six-month check-ups with your general dentist.
Periodontal diseases are chronic, just like diabetes. Without ongoing treatment, diseases can recur. For best results and optimal health, you can expect to visit us periodically for supportive periodontal treatment. These visits are coordinated with check-ups at your general dentist office.
Handling Treatment Costs
The cost of your treatment will depend on the complexity of your condition and the extent of your treatment. We evaluate each patient and create a custom treatment plan. There is no average cost.
If you have dental insurance, it will help cover at least some of the cost of your treatment. Our professional staff is experienced at working with dental insurance carriers to clarify coverage. We will review your expected out-of-pocket cost during your first visit, before any treatment begins.
We offer payment options for out-of-pocket costs. Our staff will review these options during your first visit.
